This inspiring workshop, I will guide participants through the five steps of P.O.W.E.R coaching, to create a personalised life and career pathway plan that matches who they are are and what is important to them. Your completed plan can act as a guide for ongoing action and future coaching conversations with your parent, teacher or coach.

Step 1. P = Imagine Possibilities for life and work

I will take participants on a journey of self-discovery where they will complete a “Who am I?” personal profile in nine key areas. Including their life motivators, personality type, qualities, educational goals, skills, interests, hobbies, lifestyle and work style preferences. They will then create an inspiring vision for their life and identify career options that match who they are and what is important to them.

Step 2. O = Become Organised and make a plan

Everyone will design a wish list of short, medium and long term. Their goals will give them hope and motivation for a positive future and provide a road map to move ahead.

Step 3. W = Develop Willpower and motivation

Achieving goals takes effort. So together we will weigh up the costs and the benefits to determine if the goals they have each set are worth striving for. This process serves as a reality check, with a focus on building commitment and the motivation they will need to be successful.

Step 4. E = Build your Emotional Skills

We know that people with strong emotional skills (E.Q) are likely to be more successful. Everyone will identify their emotional strengths and learn how a “can-do” attitude will help build the resilience they need to overcome obstacles.

Step 5. R = Achieve Results by taking action

To finish their life and career pathway plans, everyone will identify a few S.M.A.R.T steps that can take immediately to get them started on their journey.
